TechInception is looking for a Hospice Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). We are seeking candidates who can manage direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse who is top-notch. We offer competitive pay and handsome benefits.
This duty will provide daily ADLs, assist with vital signs, weights, feedings, activities, companionship and one to one caregiving. The overseas staff makes sure resident care, monitoring and proper interaction. Provide constant assessment of residents to ensure safety within the environment. Assist in required residents’ needs as keeping rooms clean & organized.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide skills to nursing patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Implement the plan of care and follows the comprehensive assessments.
- Provide accurate documentation of patient services mentioned in the plan of care in time.
- Apply medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Conclude and provide patient, family/caregiver education and information to diagnose self-plan of care.
- Reports of ongoing changes regarding the patient to the interdisciplinary team, include registered nurse, hospice aid, and DOPCS.
- Enable to perform other duties described by the RN or DOPCS.
Qualifications
- Licensed Vocational Nurse from California State.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Minimum 3-years experience within Hospice.
- Experience with Optima.
- Demonstrate good verbal and written organization skills.
- Must be a California licensed driver within an automobile.
- Fluctuate in working hour schedule and be available for work on weekends or continuously care shifts, as required.
- Be aware of the philosophy of the hospice concept and the needs of terminally ill patients.
- EMR systems: 1-year (Required)
- LVN: 3- years (Required)
- Hospice: 1- year (Required)
- Optima : 1- year (Preferred)
Physical And Mental Requirements:
- During the duty of this job, the employee must be able to see, hear, use hands, fingers and arms when performing several assigned tasks
- The employee would have fine motor skills and dexterity.
- Enable to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, grip, reach, push and pull.
- Enable to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and enable to adjust focus.
- Enable to work within the environment consistent with Residential Care Facilities for the elderly and the noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
