Regional Director – Sales
The Regional Sales Director oversees and manages all sales teams whose primary objective is to promote and develop the business relationship in their assigned sale markets. Designed position oversees whole markets consulting and selling of products/services to increase revenue and gross profit through planning and management. In addition develop effective communication with executives and managers across the board to determine resource requirements and coordinate efforts across teams to leverage, insight capabilities to help their customer manage and transform.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Direct sales effort on a daily basis, ensuring the sales team is strategically progressing; develop and sustain accountability measures.
- Build a positive, cross-functional team dynamic.
- Develop high-level communications through regularly scheduled meetings, data and metrics delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to direct future sales programs.
- Coordinate across the board to implement sales messaging, materials, and efforts.
- Participate in organizational activities to maintain positive relationships with members and business partners including the board of directors.
- Lead with a logical strategy vision with the organization for short and long-term goals and provide expertise to the Company by developing workshops and managing the sales teams to become capable of carrying out the Company strategies and tactics
- Develop keen customer relationships to implement strategies for expanding the Company’s reach within its current customer base.
- Proven ability to influence C-level executives and help direct reports drives new member business
- Good reputation of partnering with internal constituents, partners and other service providers.
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues and risks in order to recommend tactical strategies.
- Responsible for achieving set sales goals.
- Enable for budgeting and forecasting.
- Responsible for Regional Account Management team development, recruitment and contribute towards team compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets as required.
- Analyze trends to drive team focus and create compelling sales and benefits programs for high net-worth customers.
- Develop strong communications, ensuring a deep connection to the marketplace, consumers and influencer community.
- Develop strong and frequent interaction with pharmacy leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, MBA or other directly applicable advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 5+ years of direct sales leadership experience.
- Successfully track record of achievements in sales.
- 2+ years of directly related leadership experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Insurance Provider or GPO.
- Awareness of Prescription Benefit Manager (PBM) services in relation to Medicare Part D within Pharmacies/Facilities.
- Appropriate planning, analysis, organization, communication and presentation skills
- Enable to drive step-changes in an emerging business with a new strategy.
- Require a good understanding of standard business practices related to sales & marketing.
- Operations processes, systems (lead generation, campaign results tracking, sales process, CRM applications, reporting, forecasting, territory management and sales quotas).
- Enable to distill complex issues in straightforward concepts.
- Best communication, teamwork and partnership skills.
- Enable to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
