Melodia Care Inc – a Joint Commission accredited hospice agency – has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and driven Director Marketing to join our team. The Director will be in charge of developing and carrying out strategic marketing activity plans and ensuring the achievement of results including referral and census targets while managing marketing team working in coherent manner to adhere to high standards of performance, compliance, and care quality (person-centered support for the patients, families, and providers alike as they all go through the health care continuum).
For this job, we need someone who is extremely motivated, results-oriented, and able to form meaningful connections with internal and external providers as well as with the communities we serve. A qualified candidate must have a track record of excellent organizational and customer service abilities along with deep understanding of hospice care and coordination of such care. Prior experience developing marketing materials is required.
Responsibilities:
- Building Melodia brand as an outstanding leader in hospice care
- Developing connections with medical professionals, long-term care facilities, independent and assisted living facilities, hospitals, and other community services to generate referrals and care coordination
- Analyze the market to create and then successfully execute strategies, targets, and plans
- Grow and manage an exceptionally motivated, patient and care quality focused marketing team which truly takes pride in their respective roles and contributions
- Indulge in and enhance Melodia’s culture of transparent, collegial forward-looking work environment
- Ensure all marketing activities are fully compliant with company’s policies, local, state, and federal laws
- Support Company’s development initiatives and aid in building trusting connections with potential referral sources, both new and old.
- Experience in elderly living, or a related healthcare context with proven success in similar capacity are preferred (i.e., hospital, skilled nursing, long term care, hospice, CCRC or home health).
- Excellent verbal and writing communication abilities, along with the capacity to lead group presentations
- Microsoft Office fluency is required, as is the ability to pick up new apps quickly; preference will be given to those who have experience using client relationship management software for lead tracking.

Qualification:
- Working knowledge of hospice, long-term care, post-acute care, or assisted living setting
- Formal education in marketing or closely related discipline
- A track record of creating and carrying out marketing and sales strategies
- Proof of previous achievements
- Excellent organizational, planning, and presentational skills are essential
- The ideal candidate will be able to easily network in the community and have existing healthcare relationships
