TechInception is looking for a Pharmacy Tech. A Pharmacy Tech performs technical and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Duties include implementing physician orders by preparing and distributing medications, including intravenous admixtures and extemporaneous drug preparations. Maintain drug inventory and confidential patient records.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to demonstrate professional image
- Expert in organizational prioritizing analytical skills
- Expert in making independent decisions in critical circumstances
- Well equipped with knowledge of computer and software applications
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
- Free from the use of illegal drugs and alcohol in the workplace
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of employment
- Valid driver’s license necessary in states with multiple facilities requiring delivering to sites
- IV certification
